E&J is a family-owned and operated business that was started by Ernest “Ernie” Johnson, and has been serving the East Valley since 1982. Ernie began his career with a small hardware store in Coolidge, AZ. After working for two firms he joined General Electric for several years. Like so many entrepreneurs, he decided to launch his own business from his garage. Since then, E&J has expanded out of the garage beginnings into a full-fledged, appliance service company with five service vehicles and a full time staff focused on customer care.
Through the Certified Service Center, a national appliance servicing organization, Ernie earned his Master Technician certification. His son, Alan, joined him in the family business in 1999, and is currently the Vice President and Operations Manager.
